Fairy and Art Festival

0 Comments 20 April 2010

A group of local artists and environmentalists have organized and fairy parade and art show in the Staten Island neighborhood just outside the ferry terminal.

St. George Day is this Saturday April 24 in Tappen Park. The event will showcase artwork from local talent, promote eco-awareness and also provide arts & crafts activities for kids.

And don’t forget those fairies.

The fairies will meet at Tompkinsville Park at 1:00 pm. just a short walk from the ferry by the Everything Goes Book Cafe.

“Just look for wings and a big orange and blue flower fairy sign.”

The fairy march will proceed to Tappen Park where the festival begins. Sounds like fun.
